Trying out some new inking techniques – and a mini stapler. Also inked up the baker’s twine to change its colour. As usual, fun with paper and ink!

Wanted one of these for a while – Michael’s finally got them in. Great way to collect ideas and inspiration

I’m so excited!

I’m really excited – just got asked to be one of the 12 AIRdirondack artists this year. What that means is, I’ll be “decorating” an adirondack chair that will then be auctioned off at a gala in September with the proceeds going to Creative Airdrie.

Right now I’m still running ideas around in my head – I THINK there will be a woven pillow involved, and I may weave using the back slates. Not entirely sure. Maybe a quilted piece that goes on the back? Too many options!

The chairs should be delivered next week or the week after. Once I get going, I’ll post project photos here. Stay tuned!
