Courtesy of Nancy, the following:
“I was listening to a CBC program about language and words on Saturday (it’s called “And Sometimes Y”; it comes on at 11:30 a.m. on CBC 1) and they were talking about a punctuation mark I had never heard of before …. it’s a symbol called the “interrobang” and it combines a question mark (or interrogation mark as they called it) and an exclamation mark (apparently the slang name for it among typesetters is the bang).”
And now I need to know what an asterism is.
Go forth and astound your friends with this one! Though if you can work “interrobang” into a sentence, I applaud you!
