Managed to get all the cards I needed made ready well ahead of time – but only found time to post photos of the rest now! Figures.
I finally have time to photograph all the cards I’ve made recently and post the pics on here. There are 13 – I need to have about 40 done by the end of April for a couple of concerts I’m singing in. The cards are given to the various special guests and volunteers that we have help us out. Thirteen is a good start, but I’d better get going!
I’m completely addicted to the Earth Love line by Cosmo Cricket, which you’ll be able to tell by a lot of these cards! Also, finally invested in some Spellbinders dies and I found a nice pad of Bazzill Basics solids at Michaels not long ago in 8 x 8″ size so I’m working my way through that, too.
And that’s it! Be prepared to eventually see the other 27 cards once I get them all done.
The stamp set by Hampton Arts is called – Celebrate and Thanks and it’s available at Michaels.
Bond, Wendy Bond – has a blog. Check it out here.
Finally decided to participate in one of Kristina Werner’s Colour Inspiration challenges. If you haven’t checked out her blog, you should. This week’s colours were Whisper White, Basic Black, River Rock, Ruby Red and Basic Grey. Use some of them or all of them. This was a chance to use a cool new background stamp I got yesterday. Love this big tree. I embossed it in black on watercolour paper (for the texture). I think if I were to make this again, I’d use a black card rather than the River Rock. Just think the contrast would be better. But I like this quite a bit.
