Got most of the cutting done for my Seville quilt this morning.
This is the pattern:
Just have some sub cutting and the borders to cut.
My fabric is mostly reproduction and much more traditional than what I generally gravitate towards. I do like the tan and red combo. This might end up being for my Mum. We’ll see.
I did sew up a few blocks out of curiosity….

Yeah me! Finished my first lace knitting project – it’s a pattern called Ishbel. LOVE IT! The yarn is Misti Alpaca Lace in Cilantro. Gorgeous! I love this so much. It’s nice and light but warm. And the colour is great.
Found this website with these amazing felt dolls – I’m so impressed with the amount of detail in these beautiful little dolls. She is a true artist.
Proving that I can actually manage to warp a loom, here are a couple of pics of my floor loom, currently dressed with mercerized cotton in the warp. I’m using non-mercerized in the weft and a broken twill pattern – it’s looking pretty good. I think. (ignore the really messy craft area – these photos embarassed me into cleaning it up today…)
